ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Born in Lima, Peru Monica Patricia Rospigliosi moved to the United States in her mid-twenties, studied fashion at Parsons School of Design in N.Y. and interior design at Fairfield University in Connecticut.

Inspired by the cultural and cosmopolitan New York City, the beautiful colors of Peruvian textiles and the variety of semiprecious stones of her native Peru and other South American countries such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, etc. Monica Patricia decided to launch her jewelry and accessories line, Trizia in 2009.

Her pieces express it’s love for fashion and art. Using metals, such as silver and bronze with semiprecious stones, crystals, pearls, natural sea beads, feathers, leather, wood, bull’s horn etc. and the valuable handcrafted techniques of South American & European craftsmanship. She creates unique fashionable statement pieces that translate her taste and love for jewelry.

“I always enjoy and have fun making my own jewelry and dreamed to launch my own line one day, but specially to work and give opportunities to people that have amazing hand crafting techniques and that strived for a better quality of life and are somehow forgotten”.
